Leading the way with the MCJ Sorting Machine

We caught up with them to hear about their experience with the MCJ Sorting System, six years after its implementation.

Back in 2019, Bouwbedrijf Van de Ven was the first in the joinery industry to implement the Duivestein MCJ Sorting Machine for stacking and sorting window frame components. Founded in 1927, this family business has grown into an enterprise with 200 employees, covering all aspects of construction and operating its own joinery factory.

Inception and collaboration

"As the first in the joinery industry to use this type of machine, we worked closely with Duivestein Techniek in the early stages to identify where fine-tuning was needed. It was a great partnership. From the start, there were short lines of communication, and we worked with people who truly knew their business. The result is a machine that performs exceptionally well."

Efficiency without errors

With this machine, Van de Ven is leading the industry: 'It’s a completely hands-off process for us. As a result, errors are eliminated, and we work faster and more efficiently.' What was the primary reason for Bouwbedrijf Van de Ven to invest in this machine? 'Our main priority is our staff - the "Van de Venners." This machine has significantly reduced the physical workload, which is, of course, fantastic for our people’s well-being.'" 

Results by the numbers

In addition to supporting their staff, the impact is clearly visible in the numbers: 'On a daily basis, we are seeing higher production output with fewer labor hours'.
